On 6 November, Thulamela Local Municipality advertised a turnkey design-and-construction tender for a buy-back centre at Thohoyandou Landfill Site, with bids closing on 10 December 2026. No project budget was published in the available listing. The project offers opportunities in recycling infrastructure, waste management and circular-economy services.
