Paraguay Opens Public-Sector Innovation Procurement Opportunities for Technology Startups

On 27 October 2026, Paraguay’s procurement authority announced a new procedure allowing public institutions to commission the research, development, testing and validation of innovative solutions that are not yet available on the market. The framework could give startups and technology companies a route to secure government-funded development contracts, although no fixed national startup funding pool or grant amount was announced.
